In this example, I cannot see how the council could therefore suggest we should pay for its upkeep.
They can - ownership of road itself nothing to do with the liability - issue is whether the property abuts it or has access to it.RICHARD WEBSTER

We're lucky enough to have street lights in our cul-de-sac and we were burgled last winter. Got the council doing some investigation work on this now - not quite sure how long it will take but the lack of ownership did seem to concern them.Interested in property investment, web tech, social media, forex, equities. Also a proud father & entrepreneur of sorts.0
