"Both Equifax and Experian offer a 30 day free trial of their online subscription services, you can apply online via these links"
I did. But within a week of the 30 day free trail creditexpert.co.uk took out £5.95 from my bank account. What's going on, Martin Lewis?

Given that Martin Lewis doesn't work for Equifax or Experian, perhaps your query would be best put to the companies in question.0 -

Nice response to drill in the point! :money: But if Martin is reading this perhaps he can respond. Plus, Martin, why am I in so much debt?:rolleyes: The Blue Lagoon is new so perhaps we need to be gentler.Do you make things happen, watch things happen, or just wonder, what happened?0 -
I was caught by this, it's the great EXPERIAN con. Now you wouldn't of ticked the box saying you will give them 5.95 for a score, but when you went down to the end of your credit report it says would you like to order your credit score? Now because you think you didn't tick the box you though wouldn't be charged. But as soon as you hit continue, you will pay and they won't refund you a penny!0

same happened to me. Plus my credit score changed twice in one day, despite no new applications or anything. Another point: Experian were prepared to investigate an incorrect entry while I was still paying them a sub. Now that I'm not, they won't deal with it anymore. I paid £2 to Equifax who it seems won't help me at all with any follow ups to correct incorrect entries.0

Both myself and a friend were duped by the free 30 day EXPERIAN con. Took several e mails and a threat to refer to trading standards to get a refund, my friend did the same and also got a refund. Not a pleasant organisation to deal with... avoid!!0

Everything is a con with you lot;
"my milk went off half an hour earlier than it should have, what a con"
"my bank lent me some money to buy a car and I agreed to the terms and now I cant afford it, what a con"
"ever since I started posting on this forum I have had nothing but bad luck, what a con"
"The waiter in the resteraunt forgot my side order of onion rings, what a con"
"I signed a variable APR credit agreement and now my 0% deal has ended which I knew about 12 months ago, the bank has increased my APR as per the contract I entred into them with, what a con".
"While wiping my backside the other day I poked my fingers through the toilet paper, I feel have been ripped off by Andrex and now I am a victim so I am going to sue them via a template letter I found on an internet forum, what a bloody con!"
Somebody please, please change the record!Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -

It must be one of those old vinyls, just goes around and around and around.........
Trouble is there are too many people around here willing to convince them that they have been ripped off/conned. Far easier to blame someone else0
