Visa Delta

Sorry if this is a stupid question but can anyone tell me if Visa Delta is the same as a Visa Debit card?

I've just got a Lloyds TSB current account which has a Visa debit card. I want to use it to deposit money in to my Betfair account but the site says that they charge for using Visa cards but Delta/Solo/Maestro is free.

Will i be able to desposit without a charge?

Thanks.

I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure it is just a debit card which is similar to Maestro. You shouldn't get charged more.

Have a read of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_Debit

Delta does not exist anymore it has been replaced by VISA debit system.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Do you think that Betfair have just been a bit slow in updating their information then?

Thanks for everyone's responses. I take it from this that by delta they mean debit so I won't be charged.

Delta is Visa Debit. They renamed the card. Some companies still use Delta as some people still have Delta cards.

Betfair accepts Visa Debit by using the card as Delta. No charges will be incurred.
