hi, has anyone had any dealings with welcome fiance for car credit and been missold PPI? if so any information would be helpfull. thankyou,windymiller.

i have and won, find your insurance docs that you got when you took your car loan out and in there is an address to write to them about misselling to you after you have gone this you will get a letter back saying that it will take 8 weeks for there solicitors to look into this than after that you may get a letter back saying that they have looked into this and find that you was not misold the policy, your next step then is to got to the onbudsman and they will get onto them ,when i did this i got a nice check through the door and this took me about 3mths to do so easy welcome didnt have a leg to stand on

When did you take the loan out? If it was circa 2003-2006 ish there was a batch of agreements were PPI was not optional- these are irredeemably unenforceable so worth getting a copy of the agreement to see whether you even had the option of ticking a 'no' box.
