Give us a clue.
Where do you live? What will you use it for? How much will you use it? How many people will travel regularly? How long have you been driving? Do you have a good insurance record?0 -
Yes, could do with more info. on what you need out of a car.
If you were contemplating brand new, we are really talking small cars.
A Hyundai i10 basic model starts at just under 6500 with a 5 year warranty. It is very poor at retaining value so I would only suggest it if you were planning on keeping it for 6+ years.
A better idea might be a young Skoda Fabia, I'd go with the 1.4 petrol engine or 1.4 TDI (diesel) but only if you do a lot of open road miles. Plenty of these available (sadly not the latest model) at 6495 in the 2005 to 2007 age range. The Fabia holds it's value well above average and since depreciation is the most expensive element of car costs needs to be paid attention to first, usually followed by fuel consumption, depend on the miles you do.0 -
