My husband is just finishing his MA to become a music teacher, literally three weeks to go. He has a job lined up to start in september, contract signed etc. What do we put under 'employment' in the CC application? Can we count him as already employed, or do we have to call him a student?
Thanks

The problem you have is if the CC company ask for 3 months wage slips or bank statements showing the credit.
It's unlikely but possible.
Does the form have a "length of service" part.
You could maybe put teacher for 0 months if this is the case.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep

Good point. It's an internet form, I'll have to check it again.0

I wasn't working through illness for 2 and a half years so when I applied for a CC I thought I would put unemployed. But when I spoke to my bank as I was advised to change it to retired. I did so and was slapped with a couple of CIFAS warnings (application fraud - facility refused). I had no idea every piece of info on an application was cross checked.0

you should of made complaint and told them that bank said it was best to put that. btw whats the difference between these as i,m baffled as to why you could get granted credit if they say it was application fraud. i would of thought both would give you a refusal.
Application Fraud (Facility Granted) - Application Fraud (Facility Refused)0
