I was looking at the Bradford and Bingley 1 yr e-bond which is paying a very decent 6.60% gross.

One thing that struck me was that it sounds like there is absolutely no way to access your money until the year is up, even with a loss of x days interest but access allowed. You can't close the account either.
Anyone ever heard of one like this?

Branch Version is same rate for those who prefer dealing by branch.

If a provider wants to stipulate that an account cant be closed or withdrawals made during a fixed term period then that is a matter for them.0
