Can someone help me please?

I'm going to buy a new PC in the summer - existing one is on its' last legs - and have my own copy of MS Outlook 2007 which I plan to install on it (licences are all OK).

Is there a way I can transfer all the contacts that I cuurently have listed in the MS Office on my existing PC as I don't want to have to re-enter them all if I can avoid it?

Any help greatly appreciated.

  • Check out the file menu, there are import and export options available there, I would suggest use a .txt file if it is available (accepted by loads of different programs and could be used for other stuff).

You can save this anywhere and should be able to load it onto a new pc.

    Good luck.

Or you could just copy the PST file from the old PC to the new one. The PST file holds all outlook mail, calendar, contacts, tasks etc.

If you aren't aware of how PST files work, or where they are stored, read:
