  • I haven't been on here for a while, but am back now due to belt-tightening credit crunch...

    Today I have:
    • put the washing up on the airer (raining outside here too!)
    • made an enormous fruit salad for lunch, to avoid wasting the tons of fruit I had in the fridge
    • frozen 6 portions of the chicken & vegetable soup I made last night to use up Sunday's chicken!
    • put 1 portion of the chicken soup in the fridge for my dinner tonight
    • been shopping at Tescos and managed to keep the bill under £15
    • slipped the cats some cheap cat food this morning (usually they have Whiskas but they will eat cheap food if you give it to them when they're not expecting it)
    • drove to work at 55mph to keep the petrol consumption down!
Not a bad score so far!
