outdoor projector help.. advice needed

hi

I want to "beam" an image onto a building and I was wondering what sort of equipment I would need, any advice would be helpful! It is a static image, full colour.

I have a projector, but that wont be bright enough... anyone any advice to help me out?

Brightness is the key, if it's in daylight, or bright sunshine, you've got very little chance, during the evening though will be better, and obviously night time is the only real choice! We've tested it with good 2000 lumen projectors onto a wall before, it's ok, but obviously unless the wall is white, then the image won't be that good.

Brightness and ability to focus at whatever distant you require with little distortion are the key features you need to look for.

There are companies that specialise in architectural lighting who may be able to advise.

A quick search may bring up some in your area.

Just had a quick look and found this - might help?
