Problem with citreon saxo radio

I have a citreon saxo and i have got a problem with the radio. I can change the stations, put the volume on, put the CD on but most of the time i cannot hear anything. Occasionally suddenly the i will hear. Don't know what the problem is.

You may have a loose connection at the back of the head unit (radio). You may also have a speaker shorting out and dragging the system down. Because you periodically hear something (probably when you go over a bump) I'd suggest a loose connection .
