I'm having the same problem with registering. Tried IE / Firefox and even cut n paste @, and still no bloomin luck

im sorry can you explain im using internet the nwew one but i dont know how to do the cache thing

How do you get 16,750?

My highest bonus is 12,750, even when I answer it after one block.

2500 + 1250 + 750 + 500 + 350 + bonus of 11400

although it is tempting to take the bonus when you get 2500 on the first tile, you can get a higher score by getting some more high scoring tiles

the bonuses are
1 tile 12750
2 tiles 12000
3 tiles 11800
4 tiles 11500
5 tiles 11400
6 tiles 10700
after that it is probably not worth continuing, as you are likely to lose more points via a low bonus against the possible score from a tile

if you haven't already noticed the tile values are
2500 1250 750 500 350 200 150 100 50 40 25 15 10 5 2 1

knowing that you can work out when is the optimal time to submit your answer (highest is with 5 tiles, usually go for between 4 and 6, depending on tiles and how risky I want to be)

OK, here's how to do it with IE7, but you might want to read the last paragraph first. However the following might be useful in the future (with the snap search some people had to look at their cache when they had missed a win)

if you are using IE7 select the menu tools->internet options, this pops up the "Internet Options" window

in the "browsing history" section press the "Settings" button, this pops up the "Temporary Internet Files and History Settings" window. on that window press the "view files" button

this brings up Windows Explorer on the "temporary internet files" folder, which shows all the files/web sites that IE has recently accessed.

you need to sort on "last accessed", near the top you should see files like 008a.jpg, 012b.jpg, 017a.jpg (they will be in reverse order of the order they will appear in the game).

If you are new to the internet/computers this might be a bit too technical for you (this isn't the sort of thing you would normally have to do). To be honest, since working this out I have very rarely needed to look at the images. you are going to get your best score with 5 tiles. once you have played the game for a while this is usually enough to be able to recognise the celeb.

Yes as Terminal pointed out the highest score possible is with 5 tiles and being lucky enough to get the 5 highest points values.

Interesting to know the odds of doing this on all 3 panels.

Pretty sure current leader can be beaten only with a max score. Looks like he missed a 750 and got 50 instead. The Xbox is well deserved.

Is there a knack to getting the high scoring tiles? I rarely get the high scoring ones in my first 5 and usually end up scoring 1, 2, 5 etc! :eek:
