Right, I've just subscribed to Essentials for a gift for sister as was doing free make-up set and 4 issues free, £4 something per quarter. Will the gift go straight to her or will it come to me, sorry a bit dim, but never done gift subscription before and as I'm payee was wondering who gets freebie.

in my experience with all the subs i have done the free gift always goes to the person who sets it uo (the payee). Hope this helps

Has anyone received the original source goodies with the nuts subscription or the Andrew Collinge stuff with Essentials. I have been waiting ages for both of these and have phoned IPc twice so far.

Hi,just to make it clear i did not been cancel the dd before any payment had gone through. I have already paid for the first 3 months but do not want to continue with it after that as it is not really like i thought it would be.
As this is the first sub i have taken out i was unsure how long to leave before i cancell it ie after the last one has arrived or once the first payment had gone through,and as i still had not got my free gift i did not know if they would still send it if i had cancelled my sub with them.
The free gift was offered with the 3 magazines for £5.85.

You have paid for your 3 mags, so they would be obligated to send them, would it not be the same for the free gift? I normally cancel after my first payment is taken, as the gift usually arrives the same day or the day after in most cases. I rarely keep on the sub after the intitial period.
