I know you will be all throwing your hands in the air, dont blame you, i am confused. I understand the 3 issues for a pound and i have had the maxim one, waiting for gift.
If i take out one of the other subscriptions ie:

FREE Anti-ageing face set worth £60.00 (technology)!
Only when you subscribe to Top Sante!

For as little as £9.50

Can i cancel the subscription before the money goes out and still receive the gift or am i just paying less for a beauty set.
I know they say you can cancel at anytime, do they charge you for the first mag at full price.

It's ok, this is quite confusing! Basically, you usually have to pay the first installment, in this case the £9.50, so yes, you're just getting the beauty set for cheap and some mags. That's why the best offers are the ones where the initial installment is just a pound or 3!

I'm not sure what would happen if you cancelled it before the money went out - guess you wouldn't get anything

However, there have been offers where you get X number of mags for free AND a free gift (Now mag was one a few months ago). However, these tend to be few and far between, and the publisher usually stops the offer pretty pronto when they start getting loads of subscriptions from all the MSErs

Hope this makes some sense

Thanks Dormouse, i have just cancelled my Maxim subscription by accident, had the first mag and not the free gift, not sure if they will want the money for the mag now, i will keep you posted.

How about this, I took out the Loaded 3 issues for £5 with free source pack a month ago.
Today a package was delivered with 3 shaving creams, 3 shower gels and shampoo and seperate conditioner,, and a shaving balm

All full size bottle - very happy

However I am yet to receive a magazine!!!

Should I complain?

I received my pack about 3 weeks ago but still no magazine.

Mens Fitness should have taken £1 out of my account. When I checked they took £11.99. I complained and they said they would refund it on the 9th June.
I checked again yesterday, still not back in my account. Rang them again yesterday and they said it takes 28days to refund the money back into my account!!!!!
Tried ringing my bank to complain, but as yet haven't got through. Blinking cheek. I'm sure it could go right back in.........came out quick enough.

I took out the subscription to Now magazine solely because of the Body Shop butters. I cancelled the direct debit instruction with my bank over the phone weeks ago but to my shock £11.99 was debited yesterday. I phoned up IPC to cancel my subscription, and was told only £11.14 would be refunded as the next issue has been ordered already! I am so upset as I wouldn't have bought the magazine for even a penny. To make matters worse, I won't be receiving the freebies as I have cancelled my sub. Oh well.

I don't think anyone has received their Body Shop butters for this mag.
