Buy it direct from the BBC and save £3 on the year as it's delivered for £25 or £13.50 for 6 months.

Hi guys,
i'm still a little confused re:Maxim 2-yr subscription. I've registered, they've taken the payment for £9.99 but I'm still a week away from the first issue......
The question is, when can I cancel the direct debit? If I do it now, will I still receive the mag for the next two years or will they take that as an indication that I don't want it and not bother sending it? I want the full 24 issues but I noticed earlier in the thread that the company had been trying to take additional direct debits even after the first £9.99 payment!! help.0 -

Just cancel it now. They are still running this offer so will honour it. They would only know you had cancelled if they tried to take more money off you.
BTW This months Maxim is pretty poor. How can they seriously think they are doing a good job with that magazine ? But there is a 2 for 1 curry and beer voucher in it that I will use this weekend so its not all bad.0 -
Maxim is the worst magazine ever. Do not waste a penny on this sick..0

I just called to subscribe to Now magazine and was told the first payment of £1 would be taken from my account in about a week and after my 6 issues I would then pay the regular price. I should expect to receive my body butters within 28 days (didn't someone say the first 6 issues were free ? )0
