I would assume you cancel after the last mag has been received and before the dd is taken. DD can be cancelled easily online/at bank.

Thanks Kelly i'll need to get an online bank account to make things easier. Would you believe that my bank wont cancel at the branch cos it takes too much time and no facility to do so online you can only do it by phone which is a pain

I was looking at this one in store, the problem with it is the direct debit is £11.99 so as you don't pay anything to begin with, you have no way of cancelling before the first direct debit is taken which is £11.99. So as I see it you get the 6 free issues and the gift but then you have to pay at least the first of the 3 monthly direct debits at £11.99? Unless you can ring up and cancel before they take the first direct debit but there's no way of stopping it with your bank!

With most of the 3 issues for a pound offers - it says you can cancel up to two weeks after you receive the third issue.
