if you use amazon they pay you a flat fee in advance for postage which they then charge the buyer so you should have the funds in advance -

Someone who has used amazon will be able to tell you if im right lol, im listed on there but havent actually sold yet.

  • Hello everyone,

Here's what I've managed so far:

Second job - £83.88 (after tax)
Quidco - £6.89 being paid soon
    Pigsback - £1.35

    Total = £92.12/£155

Pay day was the 25th april so have counted all earnings since then and until 26th May, the day before next payday.
    July £5 a Day challenge - £66.01/£155

He he - just bought my little man the new cbeebies dvd on ebay - should have been 12.90 all told, used my £10 Ebay voucher and £2.90 from my paypal which had writershare & pinecone cash in anyway so essentially got it for free... and went through quidco too so should get £5.14 back!
    YAY!

DVDs sell well - I was selling mine for £1 each. I managed to get rid of smellies and one vase too, plus an umbrella that I had free with a magazine. I am amazed at what people will buy - there was a woman who was after some Christian Lacroix Noir After shave conditioner (my OH used it and it stung his face - he had squeezed a fair bit out too) and she bought it for 20p.

My mate was selling her old shoes and handbags and they went down a treat too (although for some reason some people seem to object to buying a pair of unworn leather shoes for a fiver and want to buy them for pennies).

I even sold my mate a plastic dust sheet to cover her stall when it started raining.:D

Can you actully claim that money?

I had a bit of an issue with winsant but its just because i didnt understand the t&cs properly and I didnt want to loose any money.
    Basically...
    • you get £5 free play - I played this untill I had about £15 in my account.
    • You can;t ever withdraw the free £5
    • You have to deposit (min £5) and play that amount through. - [ as I had £15 it broke down to £5 bonus £5 to cover my deposit and I would still be £5 up]
    • The minimum you can withdraw though is £10 I think but luckily, I did the above and ended up with £27 something (Result!! :j)
    • But I had entered my uni address for the card details, which is not the registered one, and I also put the worng card type in - probably because I was so focused on not getting it wrong and losing money! so I emailed them and they said it would be ok
    • Then the website went wrong and couldnt refund my winnings to my maestro card so they sent me a cheque, which I got less than a week later!!

so yes - you can get money out but be careful and their customer service is amazing! but the games are rubbish!
