I know this is a long shot, my girlfriend had her laptop stolen recently and I had logmein on it for me to dial in when she needed help. I can see that whoever has stolen it is now in session on the laptop,I can't login as it has now been password protected. Anyone know of any clever way I can trace it??
I suppose it may be someone who bought it from the thiefs but still a trace would be great for the police to follow up on.
Thanks in advance

i don't, but maybe contact logmein and ask if they have a record of the IP address and time, which should be traceable to a house (via police and ISP)Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

thanks. I've sent an email across to them so will see what happens next!
Wish there was a tracker in it......0 -
Not a lot of use now, but I remember seeing some "tracker" software that you could activate remotely. When the thief connects to the Internet, you get an email with IP address, possible locations... or something like that. Can't think what is was called now...0

Thanks for looking. No news as yet from logmein. Have to say it is really frustrating seeing them logged in!0
