Lump sum

Hello
I am hoping to receive a lump sum of around £90k next month and am looking for some advice. This money is really my retirement nest egg (10 years) so I was thinking of putting around two thirds in various savings accounts with the rest spread over four investment trusts monthly plans - say £100 a month for the next five years.
Also, besides Cahoot are these suggestions for the next best two savings ideas.
Thanks

also consider pension contributions (if possible). Tax relief on contributions. Also useful for a partner whose income may not be that high in retirement.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Something you might want to consider.
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1081137796,10029,I have five stars! This doesn't mean that I know anything about any of the things I post. I could be a raving lunatic, or a brilliant genius, or just some guy on the internet. In fact, I could be all three at the same time.
If anything I say makes sense, then do it. If not, don't. Don't blame me or my stars if you do something stupid because I suggested it. I'm responsible for my own stupidity only. You are responsible for yours.
Why, I don't even have five stars anymore! Aren't you glad you aren't responsible for my stupidity?0 -
Thanks for the info
