Bidpay Help

Hi I am selling a used samsung d500 on ebay for £145 and I have had someone ask me if I will accepted bidpay as a payment. She said she will pay £400!! and I am wanting to know how reliable bidpay is as I have not used it before.

Email 1 I got:

GOOD DAY ,i am interested in the immediate purchase 2 of this unit and will be making

payment right away,i shall also be ready to pay additional 100usd +the buy it now price

through BidPay .i will like to ask if you would be able to ship as soon as payment is confirmed

and approved by BidPay ,this is due to the fact that the demand is high in my store and so i will

want to complete the transaction in a very timely manner.if you can do this, email me with

your name, contact address and your phone number so that i can proceed with payment right

away.let me quickly say that u will be sending the unit thru royalmail as u will be sending this unit to africa.i will be expecting your reply ....make sure u get the back to me with ur name and address for immediate payment and including the shipping and handling charges ok you can

    Dmo42455 this is the classic Nigerian or 419 scam. Do a Google search for either of those phrases and you will see what I mean.

    Send the email to ebay and block the bidder from bidding and then ignore the person.

    Finally one tip, never negotiate payment methods with your buyers stick with what you are happy with. Bidpay and Western Union are best avoided.
