Hi all.I am a newbie to this money saving since I got my head out of the sand at Christmas I hope i have posted my question in the correct place.I have started to try and get my debt down by transferring my credit card debts, £9500 approx.I think I may be trying at the wrong time with the credit crunch in progress as I have been turned down for all the best deals,Anyway what I have so far is
Mint £2000 with 0% until Dec,
Citi £1700 with 4.9% for life of balance,
MBNA 2121 with 3.9% until Dec
Goldfish 1800 with 4.9% for 36 months
I also have Tescocard 1689 at 1.456% and Barclaycard £320 at1.597%
I was going to clear the Barclaycard onto the Tescocard and then try to transfer back to the Barclaycard at 6.5% life of balance. What I am concerned with is the Mint card and MBNA card until December. If there are no deals around then I know the interest will probably go sky high ,I know the MBNA card will.So if anyone has any suggestions as to how best to tackle the situation I would be very grateful.
Sooooo deep in debt.At my age I should have known better.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Pay off the highest rate first. If you can afford it pay off the BC all together, then if you can get a good deal, do what you said and transfer Tesco to BC. You are doing the right thing so set up minimum payment DD to all cards so you don't miss any, hopefully come November you can apply for a new card and sort out MBNA and EGG (Tesco might have an offer on, you never know), Citi and Goldfish are fine for now so ne need to worry about those.
