Yet another TAX Credit question

Sorry to ask this question but i have not been able to get an answer by looking through the forums and gov websites.
I wanted to know how many days/nights i can spend at my new partners house without it affecting her tax credits. She currently gets £520 per month and with my income it will be £50 per month.
I am just going through my divorce and living with my sister so i cant contribute very much income at the moment to the relationship.
Can anyone help please? is there any other restrictions?
Thanks

It is not so much a matter of how much time you spend with your girlfriend as your financial relationship with her.0

Try telling that to a nosey neighbour and then fraud investigator.
I think as long as you dont take the pi*s and stay night after night after night then you shouldn't raise any suspicion. I'd say 2-3 nights a week would be okay but im not a fraud investigator so im just guessing.
I doubt you will find an answer tbh as its such a grey area.0 -
Thanks alot, it is a very grey0

Compliance look for various indicators that a couple are cohabiting one of which is a single person living "beyond their means" with no explanation for where the extra money is coming from. Stopping over a couple of nights per week should not be a problem. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
