I think a cornwall meet is a must.

My daughters hubbie is based on Culdrose, and they live on the Naval base.just had the flora day there, and we tend to avoid Newquay as i find it very crowded.
I love Flora Day  Had to miss it this year :(

I can't stick Newquay any more, it's turning into Brighton *hopes she hasn't offended anyone* :o

You alright with a tent in the garden Hypno? :rotfl:

What fun there's been on this thread today! Love it - can I second Cornwall? Maybe its fifth.... I went down for the eclipse, and then back again a few years later to see Goonhilly and the Eden Centre properly. Whaddaya mean, I'm a secret techie? And Glasgae - the World Science Fiction Con was in the Armadillo, yanno! Wonderful stuff. Saw Russell Davies the year of the first series of the new Doctor Who. Ah yes, the things I used to do when I had, you know, money.

Today, I've been lolling on the sofa, listening to the commetaries on the DVDs of Firefly, admiring Nathan Fillion from all angles. Pleasant, but not what I'd have chosen first off the bat. Yep, I'd rather be in Cornwall. Or watching hypno at a car boot sale, that would be pretty good too
