Hope today's gone great Hypno - just catching up from over the weekend as we've decorated our office and so took my computer to bits and have been borrowing OH's laptop for snatches of ebay checking and stuff.
I'm so glad those recordings have paid off - hope they're really popular and the money starts flooding in! I've worked for TNS for a while and they're pretty good, but now they've gone self employed I've got cold feet about keeping all the paperwork and filling in the tax return and stuffInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

onion soup sounds fab dragon ....you can always bring your bed with you
pania basically olive oil in a pan cut up your garlic add let the flavour come out (i cook it all on a low heat then blitz it just before the end)
add onions (i leave them in the rings nice and crunchy that way)
add cut up peppers
basically add all veg and nuts (in quarters)
get tofu crumble it in so it looks like scrambled egg
add pesto to taste
add curry powder etc to taste and voila its easy peasy lemon squeezy
pop bread into toaster add spread and thats it
well it has to be i make it lol0 -

Pania - you are forgiven......and I may well pop over for coffee! Will ring you later on! Just keep me away from the chocolate stall on the market!!
Mooloo - someone who is very close to me has a "buddy" similar to the one you talk about - they get them through mencap. My friend is autistic and although he now has a flat of his own with full time carers, when he lived at home with his parents he had lots of fab outings with Mencap - bowling, cinema, shopping, even work experience and going to the pub for a drink - stuff that "normal" young adults do.
Might be worth giving Mencap a ring - we cannot speak highly enough of them really. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Sorry to hijack Hypno - I don't think Mooloo has her own thread.
Mooloo - there are these sort of people available but it may be down to where you live. A friend of mine runs a group for younga nd vulnerable adults who go bowling, to hte seaside and for a quiet drink in a quiet pub; she is in leeds though. I will ask to see if there is a nationwide organisation as there is obvioulsy someting also in Hypno's area.
Thanks Hypno - and good luck with the new job.
Thanks for information. I will try a bit harder to find out if we can get help of this nature in Oxford.
Hope Hypno doesnt mind, didnt mean to hijack the thread. (Damb am always doing that, its jsut so many people read this one, that I get help much faster then I do on my own. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
