Hypno I owe you an apology.:o During Ampersands "make an anagram from the trolls name" competition of yesterday I was desperately looking for it to make your favourite word. I failed you miserably and for that i truly apologise. Maybe next time the person trolling would be considerate enough to include the letters "W" "A" "N" "K" and "Y" in their username. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I hope so. With the mixture of all the different departments perhaps we will get some productive help for the girls. When asked what do we think they can do for us, I had a think. I know what I want for the girls, its a sort of "buddy", someone that will be there friends, go with them to new places, encourage them to meet others, and to do different things. Someone who will help them with thier domestic prblems and to make sure that they are understanding whats going on around them, and ............ peace of mind for me that they are safe when I am not with them. But I doubt there is any job description out there that will do that!! Ah well.;)
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Pania - you are forgiven......and I may well pop over for coffee! Will ring you later on! Just keep me away from the chocolate stall on the market!!

Mooloo - someone who is very close to me has a "buddy" similar to the one you talk about - they get them through mencap. My friend is autistic and although he now has a flat of his own with full time carers, when he lived at home with his parents he had lots of fab outings with Mencap - bowling, cinema, shopping, even work experience and going to the pub for a drink - stuff that "normal" young adults do.

Might be worth giving Mencap a ring - we cannot speak highly enough of them really.

Morning all, I won £20 on the free bingo last night... BUT wait for it I put it all back on!! Lost it AND put £20 of my own on !!!!!!   I've NEVER done that before, I usually withdraw the minute I win. Gambling/bingo does not really interest me its only the free offers that have drawn me in and I've done quite well out of it even though I find it tedious its been worth it.

So I guess I am saying if I can waste £20 of winnings and £20 of my own money then anyone can so we need to keep a check on ourselves. I know its not a big amount of money but I'm still annoyed with myself. I think I was chasing Taxis £1000 wins :o:o:o

Anyway I hope you manage to get all your jobs done today Hypno so you can relax over the long weekend ready for your new job.

    Take care
