Hi Obi!! Yes, I ROCK, I REALLY DO :D

Your list is pretty much like mine - I have just let it slip a bit when I have been "all over the place", and of course when you are a DFWer, letting your guard down is not a good thing at all. So discipline is indeed the key......my meal plans are written, my first shop is in (using a discount voucher of course!).

I am not big on baking - not just because I don't have the time, (or is that just an excuse?) but because I would be happy to eat cake and biscuits rather than proper food......and that would not be healthy. But for the summer hols, I will get some baking done - last summer after going blackberry picking, I made loads of summer fruit muffins for the freezer. I also made some yummy carrot muffins, which were an absolute hit, and again freeze well.......so I will perhaps add the extra ingredients to the shopping list next week.

Meant to add (but was too eager with the "submit" button!) that the ASDA substition thingy seems good value - I will give them a look. You never see ASDA vans round here, either because they don't deliver, or we are all just too snobby to have them deliver to our village.........:rotfl:

hi KC hope you have a good day - yes PP do fairly frequent bonus things - generally on casino games and def not risk free as such, but not too bad if you are prepared for the risk - Once I only came out with 18p profit, but generally it is more than that, so worth doing, in my book.

Trying to find a worried smiley here :D I may be screaming for help come end of August! Cos it sounds worth doing in my book too.

Just logged on to online banking and after the lateness of OH pay yesterday, it now appears that they have paid him twice.....:rotfl:

I know it will be going back first thing on Monday, but it is nice to see a little money in my account for a couple of days and you never know, I might earn 0.00001p in interest while it is there.....

Just make sure it doesn't go back twice...

Hypno, I know we've mentioned before about AQA and you've rightly said you've too much else going on, but would it be an option to help with the shortfall? Perhaps you could do a bit here and there and hubby could too ?? I won't be offended if you don't think so but I just wondered if it might help a bit? It is quite dull but its a lovely feeling when you can generate some extra cash from home as and when you feel like it ;):D

Good news about OH pay at last :T

You all seem so organised and put me to shame.I've never done the online shopping thing but it saves time I guess will have to look into it.I don't use big supermarkets as I tend to shop for England but it all sounds good. What are i points?

I will look at AQA again when they are next recruiting.....it all helps, doesn't it. I don't think OH would do it - he is not as good at "words" as I am.

ipoints - I don't know - another one to investigate :D , but yes online shopping does save time, and stress at the supermarket. but of course you do miss out on "offers" that are instore, such as reduced stuff at the end of the day, so there is a bit of a tradeoff, obviously.

Z, OH will be taking the overpayment in to them on Monday morning, so that there is no need for them to "claim" it from us in any way.....also saves me being tempted to "borrow" it :o

DS is back from the snowboard thingy he went to - out of his £2.50 I gave him for lunch, he came back with change, because he was rewarded with free food for helping out behind the barbecue when they were busy....:D

    That's ma boy!!
