  • Hypno well done on being half way on your yearly challenge. Just noticed something trivial (I need to get a life) that your paid off so far is similar to your post count, nearly a pound a post paid off :o told you I need to get a life and I also would like to start making £1 extra per post!

good morning. Total number of items in the car ready for the car boot this morning = 0

that means.....I need to drink my coffee....make another one.....and get shifting!!!!!

Last night we unexpectedly went out for a meal with my Mum, and my sister and her new partner (their treat) so we got to eat loads and it cost zilch.......:D So the chickpeas in the cupboard live to see another day

Moneymaking yesterday, only £7.50 profit from a bookies and £10 mystery shop fee to come. Today I have a matched bet to settle on this evening's football, so I will hopefully get a profit of about £20 there, and quidco has received a whole 10p ready to pay out at the end of the month :rotfl: Considering there is over £300 of cashback to come from various things, 10p is even more than pathetic, don't you think!!

Payday loans have to be repaid on Monday - so must remember to transfer the money back into the right accounts for them to take their money - certainly don't want THAT one going wrong

Have a good day everyone, and look forward to seeing the various car boot totals later on (word of warning, I am only aiming for £15 profit today - I think it will be a slow one!)

Hi Hypno! That *is* a small total - sounds like there might be a lot of chatting and texting going on at the same time. Glad you had such a good family night, thats lovely - I had a lovely family day yesterday too, v happy about it all. Got a bit of a plan on today for dfw-ing, but I'll see how it goes. At least I've joined in the July challenge again, thats something.

    Have a good one!

Well done Seax! Today we surpassed all expectations and came away with a profit of £54.69 :T

We started off well - I had a box of Dad's CDs.......bearing in mind they have already been to a couple of car boots and been well rummaged through, I was selling them at 50p and not being surprised when people said "who" because Dad had a rather "new age" taste in music.....

anyway, within 10 mins today, a guy offered me £25 for the lot.......I very nearly snapped his hand off in the rush to take his money!!!

Other than that, it was steady, I suppose - we have come back with less clutter than we went with, and more money in the tub, so a good day - Pania did well too, but I will let her tell you her totals when she gets in!

We took packed lunches with us, so resisted the expensive burger bars.

We will do another couple before the summer is out, then will probably take the remainder to the dump/charity shop.

So, the notes will go to the bank tomorrow and will be paid off the egg card, and the change will stay in the tub for the next sale.

Hope you are all having a good day too!
