Morning all, sun is behind a bit of cloud here, but its trying. Plan to get myself off to work a few minutes earlier today. Want to clean the floor before I cant move!! Wantt o gather my whits today, the big Social Services meeting is tomorrow, and I want to make sure I am armed with my daughters wishes and not just the social workers pushing. Take care all.

 Morning all! Everyone sounds good! Me too! That *is* a short list for you, Hypno! Following your example, I've been checking on the couple of mystery shop organisations I belong to, and now have 3 lined up, and have emailed as to whether I qualify for a fourth. Will look at jaxx and betdaq too - I need an exchange with less commission than betfair anyway.

Have a good one, posters, lurkers and diary mistress all!

Well, OH is officially on "garden leave" so doesn't need to go back to his job.

Even better is that they have agreed that he can take paid work elsewhere during his leave......so hopefully he will pick up extra shifts from his second job (now his only job lol) and other bits and pieces of temp work etc until he knows what he gets something permanent.

So I need to shovel as much of that money away as I can just in case he doesn't get anything full time as quickly as he would like.

Mystery shopping completed for today, another £20 validated in quidco, and another mystery shop picked up for the weekend........and I sold another book on amazon :T So all in all a reasonable day's debt busting :T

Thanks taxi - need to do a bit more though if we are going to survive these next few months with OH not working.

I am hoping this is the kick we need to up the game a bit (again!). It is the first time one of us has left a job without having anything to go to.....so is a little scary!!

Has he got contacts in the field he was in? Maybe time to call in some favours?

Evening Hypno, good news about the garden leave.

Hopefully hubby will soon get another job. Is he in an area where there are lots of jobs or is it more specialised?

Gemmz, he is currently "gagged" - no talking to anyone........bah.

doodledo - the problem (as with many OHs on here) is that he doesn't really know what he wants to do.......he has a little hope that someone will knock on the door, knowing that he is looking for a job that pays £xxxxx and offers i him the perfect job there and then.........

I won't nag him too much in the first few days.......but will build up to it over the next week or so :D
