Hi Hypno hope you don't mind me posting. I was thinking that when you took off the private number plate, could you sell that as well?

    L

Of course I don't mind you posting!!!!

I won't be selling the private plate unless I really have to - it was the only "frivolous" thing I bought with the money from Dad's estate. So the rest of the money was paid off the debt, replaced the aging central heating boiler and replaced very old second hand cars with not quite so old second hand cars!

So, the money I spent on the private plate was a bit of "me" money as a lasting "investment" from my Dad. My sister bought a house with her share..........not much difference!!!

Of course, if I "have" to (house in danger of being repossessed, type thing) then I will sell it. I would just rather hold on to it, so that when I do sell it, I can do something not debt related with the money - so it will then be my belated "inheritance" if you see what I mean!

Yorkielass - good to see you back!! Hope you had a good time!!

Seaxwyn, yes, Amazon is my friend this week - we are only talking a couple of quid each time but they will all add up - the children have been motivated to clear out their few remaining dvds as well so I will list those this evening!

I also have a free bet credited that needs matching......might have a look and see what I can fix up tonight!

Great news on the sales.I don't blame you hanging on to the number plate as it is "yours".

Obviously, if someone were to offer me an obscene amount of money for it, I would probably take it!!!!!

As it is, although the plate is worth more than the car it sits on, it is not going to pay off my debt, sadly!!

Just picked up a mystery shop for the weekend.....an easy tenner!

OK, today's debt busting consists of.......£3.09 profit from amazon (I have only posted one thing, so only counting one thing....the rest will be posted and counted tomorrow) and £2.73 from a games bonus thing......

Total that I can transfer to my "overpayment" account = £5.82......all helps!

Hi Hypno, I havent really been about this week, so I find it impossible to catch up with everything on your thread, but I see that the vibes are good, the jobs working, the diet is too, and your on a good surge of debt freeing again.
I have been back to work full time, and I am generally a bit world weary and worn. I have been extravagant and bought some new clothes, but I have to confess to having to buy in Primark, as I needed more then I could afford in other shops. So the TV series that says The Devil Buys Primark that just popped up on the TV, its made me feel very guilty.!!
Hope the good debt busting carries on, for everyone. I will try again in my next month.. I promise.

    Woohoo! just as I say I haven't had a nibble on Amazon I sell a book for £9! :j
So that is to pack up and post tomorrow. Yeah. Can I count that on the "ebay" challenge?

Hi Mooloo........sorry you feel so weary.

Mizmir - woo hoo :j Makes my paltry sales look pathetic!!

I am adding all ebay/amazon things in to the challenge together - after all, it is not so much about where you sell them, but the fact that we are selling and decluttering and raising money that counts!!!

I have just listed 3 more DVDs.....thing is we don't have many in the first place, so our collection looks very very tiny now!!

Perhaps I ought to sell some of my books too. Right tonight though its a bit of a surf for a look for somewhere for my holidays, then bed. If I am not already too tired.!! Bye for now xx
