Correct. Why confused? The link was to demonstrate that your emoneyfacts info was correct.0 -
Current, past & future rates HERE.
but not for the Silver Savings online account.
I think what people are trying to establish, and there is some confusion over, is whether the Silver Savings Online rate is being dropped as well. The rate currently stands at 6% for this account. There is no information about rates, past or future, on this particular account on the NR website at all now.
NR don't help the confusion either by having acounts with the same name but one as branch/postal and one as online only :rolleyes:0 -

no, nobody was suggesting you did. People are just trying to determine whether the SS Online account rate is also going down in the absence of any information about it on that moneyfacts link.0 -
have requested clarification on online saver interest from NR0

The likelihood is that it will decrease in line with the Tracker Online rate (since they are similar online accounts and both are at 6.00% now).
The SS Online account wouldn't be mentioned by emoneyfacts (even if they had the info) since it is a closed account (i.e. not open for new applications).Imprudent granting of credit is bound to prove just as ruinous to a bank as to any other merchant.

Thanks Doug - I thought I was losing it there for a moment. Surely they wouldn't drop the rate by nearly a full 1%. There would be such a rush by people to move their money!0 -
Silver saver online also reduces by 0.35% to 5.65% - time to go.0
