fed up, lack of progress??

bascialy i posted a while ago that my mat had been living in H.A for 20 years , he then put his name down for a shared ownership scheme with the council and H.A

this was goign back to over 6 months and still hasnt heard nothing, he has phoned but to no avail
he has tried sites such as homes.org.uk which also dont provide many homes?

is there anythng else he can do to get on the property ladder as he already has asked or info as CAB

but he needs to start progressing?

do estate agents provide SA homes? is it good to apply from there?

Most Housing Associations will allow people to do a DIY Shared Ownership. For this you need to contact your local housing association directly, ie, not through the council. By getting your name put on the council's shared ownership list they will simply send you a letter / information when a suitable scheme appears in the area.
