https://www.laterooms.com is pretty good. Sometimes https://www.lastminute.com have the best prices. Also worth checking https://www.venere.com. Usually worth finding a good value and location place for where you want and then checking on all three. If you want London you should check https://www.priceline.co.uk and use https://www.biddingfortravel.com to find out an approximate dollar price to bid.0

Try the Rates To Go website or Hoteloholicfor good quality hotels at cheap rates.0

Small word of warning about priceline.......their site offered me a good rate, said there was available rooms, I booked, gave cc details and personal info...then they told me there was no rooms after all..
I wasn't happy that they took all my details first.
I emailed them about my booking and never received a reply. Hell will freeze over before I would use them again.
Also, if you find a hotel/rate that you like....consider calling the hotel directly and asking if they can better the rate you have found. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, always worth checking though.Herman - MP for all!

Another good one is Superbreak http://www.superbreak.co.uk/
I have used them in the past to book hotels near Heathrow. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
https://www.octopustravel.com have always been ok for me, although can't say that I've used them for UK travel that much.
Obviously, don't forget Travelodge/PremierTravelInn/InnKeepersLodge etc.I really must stop loafing and get back to work...0 -
Personally i always use https://www.tripadvisor.com to choose a hotel as they have comprehensive reviews on there, just type in the destination you want, and they will give you reviews, and links to sites offering hotel deals.0

I agree with marty-burpy-bum-sexual-postion, Trip advisor has always served me well. Remember to read the reviews with a pinch of salt ... more people are likely to complain and post bad reviews (probably in some way they think they are getting their own back) therefore if there is a balance of good, medium and bad reviews then it is likely to be fine.
IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0
