How do I complain to B&Q??????????

Hi all.. to cut a long story short. I am having an extension built and putting french doors on... B&Q have a new range of wooden oak french doors and I ordered them mid April. Paperwork and advert stated that the company who makes them would call in 5days and delivery would be within 21days of purchase. Heard nothing and called B&Q 3times - promised a call back each time but nothing. Called again last week to be told that I should be dealing with the manufacturers directly as B&Q just sell them. Asked for the number - called the manufacturers who advised that they knew nothing of the 5day call back and there was no way the doors would be ready in 21days. They have said they may be ready mid May time which takes it up to 6weeks since I ordered and paid for them. They said my complaint should lay with B&Q as they are not advertising the expected times correctly... Called B&Q back to be told they do not have a complaints department!!!!! Asked for a supervisor and they just put me through to a B&Q store!!! Please can anyone advise what I should do - I have 1/2 an extension built and a builder on hold!! Thanks...

    Usually in vain in my experience - sorry to not be any help but the only thing you can do is wait for them or cancel the order after finding a faster supplier.

    Your contract is with B+Q, not the supplier. If your contract with B+Q clearly states delivery within 21 days but this does not happen, B+Q are in clear breach of contract.
