    neither the tesco nor amazon players mentioned inc this feature.

    This is most likely a silly question, but does this play ordinary DVDs bought from a shop? I say it will but my son doubts it.
  • Yes it will play standard DVD, I cant see much use for the USB link, OK if youve got a DVD recorder with a Hard Drive, then you could transfer films from dvd HD to PC Hard disk via USB, other than this?

    That's when an External 160GB Hard Disk comes useful :)
  • Actually on the note of External Hard Disks, I saw one in Staples - 80GB Western Digital, £49.99 inc VAT. I saw it in a leaflet that came through the door. Can't seem to find it online though, maybe you can pop down if theres one local!

    Lidl have been selling Xvid/DivX DVD Players for £20.

    Know the Wembley, London stores had loads. None up in here in Glasgow when I checked.
