That is disgusting, the LL should be ashamed of himself....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Looks like a flat I used to live in! looked alright in the summer, when newly painted, then black mould everywhere, like you we had to constantly bleach the walls, no heating as broke & was condemed, ice inside windows, water in kettle froze, pipes froze, teaspoon froze to the draining board! shower leaked into flat below clothes went mouldy like yours have & bed always felt damp, used to sleep in the lounge on a sofa bed as bedroom was really bad, was so glad to get out of there was only 18 at the time & complained, letting agent didn't do anything, was very naive & didn't pursue it
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Even though you will have moved out by the time anything is done about it, it will hopefully prevent the landlord renting it out in that state to some other poor unsuspecting tenant.
You could also have a claim against the landlord for disrepair, suffering and nuisance and a report from an EHO would be very useful in court.
Thanks, I'll mention it to the TRO later. It's really daunting thinking about having to find an address, then take him to court about tds, disrepair, suffering as well as everything else. :undecided0 -
I used to have moldy clothes in a flat I rented a few years ago. We were given a machine thingy that takes water out of the air - it was a pain in the bum - noisey and had to keep emptying it. Made no diff to the horrible mould.
My then landlord was a local GP and the local 1st division footabll teams doctor. He used to do charity runs in far flung places.
But he wasn't bothered about us living in mould.... nice....You're my wife now Dave.......0 -

OMG! That is a really unhealthy place to live!
All that damp - are your lungs still in tact?!;)I am not a complete idiot - some parts are missing;)0 -
We have a problem like that although not quite so bad. It's in the kitchen. All cupboards on 2 walls can't be used because everything goes mouldy. The smell of damp knocks me sick when I open anything. I can't even put utensils in the draws because they gather mould now. Took 2 electric appliances (that I don't use often so store them away) to the estate agents to prove the mould & damp & they weren't interested. Asked me for the original shopping bill that proves I bought them!!! LL's & EA's don't really seem to give a hoot because at the end of the month, they still get their rent.0
