The way the phishing scams work of course is that your details go straight onto their database instead of logging you in.
Often think it would be great if zillions of people all went there and put in false details so they couldn't sort the real ones from the invented ones.0 -
Remember ICICI's a big Indian bank first and foremost. Google takes you to their Indian homepage at icicibank.com first, icicibank.co.uk is the second entry that comes up. It's not a fake site, no need to panic!0

Thanks for that!! I've fallen for so many phishing scams, loads of them look so real and when you're not thinking straight and just clicking automatically...........0 -

I think you missed the bit that tells you the first was a 'sponsored link'. Usually Google ads don't take you directly to the main site of the advertiser, they take you through a series of redirects so that Google knows you've clicked on the link (and will charge the advertiser for it) and then the advertiser's tracking page so they know you've come via Google and what search terms you used.
ICICI have chosen to use another domain for this.
You're right to be cautious, and ICICI are particularly bad about having lots of domains so you never can tell which is genuine and which not (compared to, say, HSBC where you go to hsbc.com and it then sends you to the right country's site). The only way to be sure is to look up the whois information (Google 'whois' to find out how) - in this case Baldur has posted it and it looks OK. So no need to panic here0
