Can I do voluntary work on Pension Credit

I have searched for the answer but can't seem to find one. If you go on pension crdit I know if I do paid work I have to declare it and the amount of Pension Credit reduces. But what if I do unpaid work does that cause any problem. Such as "Get yourself a job and don't claim benefits"

I am 60, in poor health, but need to keep active as best I am able but feel totally unemployable.

Also meant to add my wife is 58 and would she be able to do voluntary work if she was claimed for on Pension Credit?

There is no reason why either of you cannot do some voluntary if you want to whilst on Pension Credit.

Thanks for that as I was worried as I have read on here where it is not allowed on the basis of able to work voluntary therefore able to do paid for work and cut need for benefits. But this could apply for the below 60's.
