Hi...glad to help (though it is my OH who is the CORGI/plumber);) Please make sure you get quotes from at least 3 CORGIs ,hopefully ones who are familiar with your boiler of choice...both Vaillant and Worcester have a 'Find an Installer' facility on their respective websites.

go for th wb, and have they not included a power flush in the quote????? (flush the heating system removing slugde and other nasties)

Actually I like and fit both of these boilers and I think you will be happy with either one, in my own house I would go for the Vaillant but thats less to do with the boiler and more that the accessories seem a bit better. The main thing to be aware of with any boiler is that it needs to be installed to a good standard or it will give no end of trouble, a magnaclean is a good start.Mine needed a new fan so that must be whats wrong with yours:D0
