Afternoon all, well the first day at my new job went well, in some ways very different to what i'm used to, also nicer to get home a bit earlier. I hope everyone has had a good day so far.
Snugglepuss, hope you got lots of things done today.
My dfw things for today:
-Looked for more mystery shops and picked up another one
-Have an audit to do tonight
-Must look for railcard so that i get cheaper rail fare tonight when i go and do my audit.
-Bought weekly ticket, saving me loads of bus fare
-Have been asked to do 15mins extra per day in my new job, so an extra 1.15hr per week, which is good for me.
-Went to charity shop and bought a gift that i knew a member of my family would love.
-Have kept heating off all day and hope to keep it off for as long as possible.
-Try and do some surveys, keep getting screened out though!
Think thats it for me today, except for boring house hold jobs! Have a good evening everyone.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

- changed some direct debit dates so that i don't get overdrawn next month as my pay date has changed
- looked into/considered a consolidation loan to reduce outgoings and get everything in one place.
- earned £1.40 (yes, £1.40!) doing online surveys. I think I'll retire now.

Today I have:
~ checked online banking and paid monthly cc bill off in full :T
~ done piggyclicks
~ taken lunch to work
~ eaten dinner from mealplan (fridge/freezer)
~ bought some spring onions in Mr T's - reduced to 13p! :j And I (politely) requested a green clubcard point for not using a bag!!
~ charged up my mobile phone at work - do this regularly now and wouldn't have thought about it before, so thanks for the tip, sophiesmum...
~ telephoned Pigsback to follow up on a JL voucher I ordered back in mid-February which never arrived. I chased it with 6 e-mails - they replied to the first one and told me to give it another week and then go back to them, but even though I did that I had heard nothing since... Was thinking about giving up, then decided to fight for it (goodness knows it takes long enough to build up the points to get them these days!). The lovely lady on the phone has promised to post "another" one out to me today...am hoping that it arrives tomorrow or the day after. (Bit sceptical as the website says that they are out of stock of JL vouchers, but am trying to remain positive so we will give them the benefit of the doubt and keep fingers crossed!).
