I know its a bit of an obvious one, but you can't go far wrong with them such as rhubarb and gooseberry, its a sharp and tangy combination!
and if you put some porridge oats through the crumble it adds some crunch and flavour. Sorry if i'm saying stuff you already know

I had banana crumble last Sunday, don't know how they made it but it was lovely!
I think it had oats in as well.

I would say more tart fruits, eg apples, berries, plums, peaches (with cinammon/spice added), rhubarb, cranberry.
Not sure about banana though, unless you do a toffee sauce with it!Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

i have made it using eating apples rather than cooking apples, just to use them up. they don't go soft like cooking apples but taste ok0

Plums and pears are great and go nicely in combination with apples or rhubarb etc too.0

Personally any bananas getting past it are made into muffins in our house!
Muffins or banana bread here too lol. But i have frozen them peeled and chopped (open freeze on a tray then bag up)- can go in smoothies as is or defrost quickly for baking.
