McAfee firewall incompatible with IE7!

Windows firewall over-rides it, it appears, for me anyway.
Heard the windows one is inadequate. Can I overcome this problem, or upgrade McAfee?
Or should I delete McAfee and try, say, Zonealarm. Bearing in mind it must be FREE.;)

The windows one is fine, just doesn't warn you when something makes an outbound attempt. 99% of people with ZA etc tick allow everything anyway.
If you have a router, a software firewall is of less importance.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
