Fit-Flops: has anyone seen these in store? Have a few pigaback vouchers and wanted to treat myself!!
Concerning these vouchers: if I spend less than £10, do I get change into a gift card? Is it customary?
TAI
Hiya - yes it is custom now to get change from a Pigsback voucher put onto a gift card, happened to me this week. My aim now is to not spend any cash in Boots, either pay with points or use the giftcard.

Im probably being really dim here but I dont understand what this all means? xx
boo2112, is using a magaizne coupon that takes £2.30 out of the price you pay. But this counts as money (doesn't it?? since it is a mnaifacturers coupon), so you don't really need to part with the whole £5 to get another till spit, just 5-2.30=£2.70
The only problem I see is that the coupon was for the May issue and if the SA reads the T&C carefully she may not accept the coupon. This is a bit of an ongoing issue in the magazine thread since most people have been Marie Claire coupon for the previous month issue to buy the current month one. Personally I don't want to feel embaressed if I get the coupon refused, so unless I am able to find the old issue of MC, I don't try to use it in the new one.
PS: I am a Serious MoneySaving Fan!!! :j I have just been upgraded!! It's strange how these thinks make me happy!!0 -

Why couldn't boots mess mine up!!
I didn't get the 200 pts letter either - and I never got my ROC freebie
I sit here going green some days0 -
Hi,
I am not sure about the 342 (though someone has reported using the roc voucher with the 342 plua the voucher, I believe) but I can't think of a situation where it is better to use the 342 with the vouchers, rather than using 3 vouchers in 3 separate transactions. Unless you can't really spend any more money.
For example, get 3 skincare items for £5 each:
- 342 + voucher: pay £10, get another voucher. Get 3 skincare. Plus a final item with the voucher you earned.
- assuming you have purchases to make to earn vouchers, you need to spend £15 in 3 transactions of £5 each. You get the 3 skincare, spend £15, but get £15 of assorted items.
If the skincare stuff is more than £5, it is even better, since you just need to add 3 touthpastes (on 342!!) to get another till spit!!
Hope this made sense.
Hasn't the 342 on skincare ended? I'm pretty sure it has!?0 -

Just wondering does anyone know if there is any decent boots in bristol/bath
as i'm there for the weekend and i don't think i could last the whole weekend without a visit to boots!!
Thanks
Hi, Louby Lou! I'm just catching up on posta (with a cuppa - in a totally quiet house - bliss!) so you may have already had this answered, but here's my twopenn'orth:
Can't advise you on Boots in Bath as it's years since I've been to Bath, but there is a big store in Bristol city centre (Broadmead) - two floors - and another big one at the Bristol out of town shopping mall (Cribbs Causeway) - jn 17 of the M5. Free parking at the Mall and lots of other nice shops! I haven't been to Broadmead for over a year, as they are re-building the shopping centre of Bristol and I found the roads a bit of a nightmare. But Cribbs is a nice place to shop. Don't find the Boots very good for clearance bargains, but it's big enough to have a good selection of everything else I think. HTH. Have a great weekend!0 -
I got one of those letters about the PC club problems with a 200 pnt voucher attached. Used it today and it gave me 2 x 200 points - anyone else had this? :j
Pretty sure it was the coupon as I only spent £1 on a plastic comb!catherinehenderson1972 wrote: »That happened to me too. Worst of all I had to use OH card as I had left mine at home:eek: So he got 2 x 200 points plus 100 from ACM TD:mad: .I was racking my brains thinking where did that other 200 come from , now I know. He was like this :j .
Well that explains it. I got one of the letters about the Health club, but I had, had problems with mine (I kept losing the 10% discount so they issued me with a new card)
I did the following shop the day I got the letter
1 x flight socks reduced to £3.24 :rotfl:
4 x packs Boots hayfever tablets £3.99 each but BOGOF
1 x Expert deodorant reduced to £1.25
Gave in the following:-
100pts Expert voucher from Mag
300pts Flight socks voucher from mag
200pts Voucher from Boots
Save £1 wys £4 on healthcare
Cost was £9.38 and I ended up with 872 pts.
I have been pondering it for the past 2 days. Problem now solved. Thank you. :T :T :T~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
Has anyone used the 200pts ( sorryish letter) voucher today? Are the points still going on as double? This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Hutchins0
