Oooo just seen the advert for the 10points weekend :T
Can't wait!0 -
went to get 342 colgate (99p each, 3 4 2 and £1 off when you buy 2 voucher) so paid 98p for 3
popped the olay handcream stuff & olay wipes in the basket (to use the till spit & PC free wipes voucher) and some stuff for my lunch, (had already eaten my pack up before lunchtime LOL)
SA said "I need to see what vouchers you want to use before I can scan anything" Refused point blank to use the till spit on the handcream - I didn't argue as it does say "facial" and I thought "knowing my luck it won't work " She then went to bin the unused vouchers which I asked for back, as they still have ages left on them, she said "you won't be able to use them on these anyway so they're no use to you" I repplied that I obviously had picked up the wrong items as I was in a hurry and could return later to get the right items so I did have a use for them, - icily polite....
Asked for a moby top up and she told me she couldn't do it without me having a top up card, I asked could it not be printed, and she said NO.
Gave my cc to pay and she turned and looked at the till, then at the card, and said, haven't you got CASH? Eh? Its up to me to decide how I pay, as long as its a method they accept, isn't it??
I then asked her not to announce how much I had accumulated on my card, (as its no-one's business but mine) and she said she was doing her job as required! And then promptly bellowed the amount.:mad:
I was fuming!!0 -

This is when you really hope you will be getting a customer survey...You can then smile sweetly ask her name & tell her that you will take great pleasure in doing this customer survey & reporting how unhelpful she was but not in such a polite way!Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!
Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:0 -

Loads of printer cartridges reduced at Worthing Retail Park (no printers though but they did have one Epsom starter kit, which I presume is for the printer - it had the same picture on the package) for £6.18 (round the corner behind the photo counter).
Not many other SEL reduced bits and bobs but I did manage to get the celulite cream (I need it !:rotfl: lol) for £5 and on 342 as well so £10 for 3 so i'm happy (paid with points though  ) ! Got a few other bits and bobs too and 2 more till spits (cheaper TD stuff is selling out fast !)
Not much on clearance although they did have some of the 17 glimmer powder etc reduced to just over £1.
No nappies or wipes (couldn't see any reduced SEL either).
Hummingbirds have been £2.75 for ages and not shifting so maybe worth keeping an eye on them. Did have some No7 foundation thingy (I didn't take a proper look!) reduced to just over £1. Oh, and they have the gorgeous bag in there too.
If anyone can get to Littlehampton (very small store!) they have LOADS of shampoo reduced (garnier, pantene, boots own brand) and loads of deodrant (mitchum, nivea travel size and normal size and some other brands too that I can't remember). Lovely SAs in there too
ACM not very kind to me atm- no expert or much else really. Am going to hold off now until new mag comes out.
Going to my mum's for the weekend (Cambridge) so going to show her the glory of bootsing ! (she's applied for an AC, got one for my dad too so she's off to a good start - a natural I think !) She'll probably read this later (she likes to keep an eye on me).
Thx to Buffy for the heads up on Cambs stores the other day  .
How's the hunt for the printers going ladies?:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0
