Boots must make a small fortune on chewing gum geordie_lass :rotfl:
Thanks for the recommendation - and the handy advice as to how to use the acm voucher
They also must make mega bucks from packets of tissues, even although they are overpriced to start with!
KMoney is only of any use if you can spend it!:cool:0 -
Hi Passion8(and Skibster)
Cant read back on posts as have "so little time" today! Are you trying to buy a new camera? My DD is buying me a new one for my bday in June and I too need help. I want one that takes really good close ups(Ebay) as well as good normal ones. I have a fuji one but its close ups are blurred. I was thinking of a digital SLR. DD will spend £100-£150.
Any thoughts Skibster(or anyone else)? Pm if its better.
Back to Boots. Have I lost a bit of the bug or are the offers rubbish this now? Dont get excited at the thought of a little shop and could not be bothered to look last night when I was 2 doors from Boots. I have about 10 £5 till spits to use up and gave away about 8 of the £2 ones on the last day of previous offer. I have enough hair stuff , make up bags and Q10 to last a while and there are carriers full of makeup and GWPs unopened. I never recd a Spring mailing after getting them regularly for years (while not spending much in Boots), so I think we are poss penalised for spending and therefore dont need the extra help!
Maybe the new GWP will entice me. I would like the No7, mirror if it goes on offer again at £19.99 I will get it.
At least I am saving money!!!!
Wee K
Hiya weekI'll leave the techno stuff to skibster
but totally agree with the rest of your post.
***There doesn't seem to be much incentive to go shopping in Boots at the moment imoand that's an interesting point about being penalised too. I've often thought the same.

want to get the elizabeth arden and the clarins but cant really afford to pay out for itBoots dot com has a habit of luring people in by offering huge points payouts, but it's like Fool's Gold sometimes. (Only know by experience) It's much better to save your money in most cases, and spend it on the clearance items - like me :rotfl:
How wise you are passion8..I think that you have hit the nail on the head as I don't do car booting I personally wouldn't go for the offers for points sake.....( tbh I'm a bit tight too..) However I finally sucummed to the Arden one in the end ( after very long deliberation) and figured that if I did the order for Arden and Natural collection paying £28.xx and getting £23.xx points back as I was going to get some more natural collection stuff anyway I have paid less than I would have instore and got the Arden stuff as a treat ( for me)I have then got in points what I was going to spend in Boots.
( this is how I have justified this one to myself anyway, DH will probably need more convincing!)This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Hutchins0 -

The EA offer's the exception to the rule this time, but only if the really useful stuff comes back in stock - imoMy 6 Clinique blotting papers were a total waste of money lol, and if I ever do a carboot, I reckon they'd make a quid - if that! :rotfl:
