Thanks for this!! You've made me smile!! You're an :A!!
And congratulations to KJ1980!! All the best.:hello:
Back to bootsing:
Small Bargain: Got 3 Badger balms (sore muscle, sleep, tangerine lip, £3.99 each) on 342, and used one of the health club vouchers for £1 off a £4 spend. You need a degree to read the receipts: worked out £3.49+3.49+0. Plus a till-spit!! So 3 badger balms (you lot rave about it, so I decided to give it a try) for £7, plys till spit.
Big bargain: Yes, the TD Blemish serum is scanning at £6.25 and you can use the till spit for £5 off, so just £1.25!! Thank you again to the OP a couple of pages ago!! Really cheap, especially given that it is marked £12.50 in the shelf. Any clues if the redness relief is also reduced?
In case someone needs to buy some alergy tablets: you will have to spend 10 minutes looking at the offers on the shelves, some are BOGOF, other sizes offer a free hayfever eye drops, others are multibuy. Well I got Benadryl Acrivastine 12 tablets on 2 for £6 (were £3.99 each). Used a £1 off £4 on heathcare from mailing and the receipt reads: 3.48+1.52, plus the SA noted that I might be able to get a free boots hayfever eye drops (worth 4.79) and it did scan for free. Great service!! I might have been able to get another eye drops for free since I was actually buying 2, but did not think about it at the time. Needless to say, got another till spit!!
Advice request: DH is having trouble sleeping and I don't know if it is alergies or stress. I got the badger sleep balm. Can anyone recommned another alternative? We are not big fans of sleeping tablets... TIA0 -

The badger sleep balm never helped me, but hopefully it will help your hubby. I'm not a fan of taking meds, either, but what I'll do is get Night Nurse (they keep it behind the pharmacy checkout counter at Boots), and instead of a full dose, I will take 1/4 or less of a dose, just to have a little help. Or I will get Boots brand Sleepeaze (also behind the counter and much cheaper) in the 25mg tablets. The dosage is to take two; I just take one (and you could probably cut this in half and just take 1/4 of a dose). Don't get the 50mg as that is a full dose in one tablet.
Other things you've probably tried, but it bears mentioning: don't drink anything with caffeine past the afternoon. It stays in your system about six hours (I find it's best to just say no to caffeine past 3 or 4 p.m.). And I recently read this but haven't been following it yet: turn the computer off at least an hour before bedtime (something about looking at the lighted screen so close to you does something to your internal clock or wakes you up).0 -

It isn't a Boots product but I love Lush's 'Therapy' massage bar:
http://www.lush.co.uk/products/Therapy_2161.aspx
I sometimes use it as an all-over body moisturiser between an evening bath and going to bed and it gives me a very peaceful night's sleep. Also useful as a pulse-point balm. And I second the advice about avoiding caffeine in the evening and not staying on the computer too late. But, honestly, I can't recommend the Therapy bar enough - it makes me feel really chilled out.

Well... I'm back! Decided to go cold turkey on this boots malarky! But after a week i am bored and find myself checking it now and again!!!
However, I have still been going to Boots when i can!!!
