This isn't exactly Boots, but it's the kind of deal Bootsers might like. On https://www.hotukdeals.com, there is a code to get free shipping and 10 percent off your order at Avon (and you get 15% back through Quidco, too). They have T-shirt bras for £5 before the discount, and lots of other items where you buy one, get one for 50p or £1. I got a bra and two lip balms for £5.85 and free shipping.
Do watch the cart carefully though on the items where you get the second item at a cheaper cost. I initially put in two £1 lip balms and two jojoba glosses for £2.50, thinking it would cost £1.50 for two balms and £3 for two of the gloss. Nope, it took 50p off each of the cheaper items, so was £1 for two balms, and £5 for the jojoba stuff -- I adjusted my order, even though the jojoba stuff is fab -- I still have some from my last order.
Also lots of acne treatment on sale, for those who were looking for that.0 -

I canny be bothered with ANYTHING lol. Infact I think I am too laid back today lol. Put travel system on ebay last night for £160 or best offer and 8am this morning(7 day listing) I got offered £120 said they can have for £100 if they pick up tonight at 8pm when I get back home lol. Think I'm going cuckoo, soft or both. Loved up even possibly. Yeah must be that I always loose my marbles when loved up :rotfl:0 -

I just did a search, and it's included in Glamour's list of top ten blemish busters here. The page opens rather oddly -- a lot of blank white page, but scroll down and the info is at the bottom. You can click on the other top ten, too. FYI, No. 1 on the list was: THE BODY SHOP TEA TREE OIL COVER STICK, £4.50. hth
Edit: Ooh, I just looked at No. 2, and it's a Boots brand, and the price isn't bad! It was "Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Spot Wand, £3.19."
Thanks a lot for this, Skibster - I found the link really useful and I'm sure others will have, too. To make another suggestion, I use "Origins Spot Remover" which they sell on .com (£10 for a tiny bottle, but lasts for months and months) - sorry, can't get a link to the product on .com to work today!
I love how helpful this thread is!0 -
off topic slightly but has anyone ever heard of the Brand New You magazine testing panel? you pay 24.95 each quarter and they send you a tube with 4 or more items in worth over £80, sounds too good to be true, just wondered if anyone had heard anything about it?0

I have not done it, but I have a friend who signed up initially, think it has gone on about a year and she has had 3 or 4.
Apparently some are great brands, but she had one tube where two items were Nivea and L'oreal I THINK. She felt that tube was only worth £50 not 80. Another was worth well over £100 she thought.
However, she is cheeky and sells it on as she gets more than the yearly subscription she pays...then uses s****drug own brand stuff herself lol. Puts garbage on the questionare they send out aswell :eek:0
