Liverpool Clayton Square boots - clearance section by the front right hand corner tills. Lots of old no 7 bits and bobs - trinket sets for £1.75, set of 4 ?lip glosses for £3, cute little eyeshadow and mirror compacts for £2.10. Quite a few perfume gift sets there too, but they are only 1/3 off. Other cheap oddments, such as socks/tights and a few make-up bags.

Tis quiet this morning - you all havin a lay in? ;)

Just sorted hubby a nice big pile of coupons to take to Waitrose - told him not to bother with Tesco today (I'm having too much fun in Boots to think about point collecting).

Thought I'd better fess up about the coupons I swapped with AM. I've done a lot of swaps over on PTS in the last couple of weeks and had accumulated 4 stamps that hadn't been franked - used the last one on AM's envelope but had left a little of the old brown envelope under the stamp. First class took 3 days to get there then she got a card from the PO charging her £1.27 to collect the letter :o

    Soooo for anyone recycling stamps......

BEWARE - EVEN THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF OLD ENVELOPE STILL ATTACHED TO THE STAMP MEANS THEY MAY CHARGE YOU AGAIN PLUS A £1 HANDLING FEE :(

Oh and what if you had popped on an envelope, realise it was too big and needed a large letter stamp and so peeled it off and stuck it to your smaller white envelope?

Never found one unfranked yet! Always check when I cut around them to save for dogs for the blind

Hilarious - just catching up with Passion8's adventures. I'd be applying for my emigration papers :o . :rotfl:
lol, morning *Jelly Tots* and all. I know what you mean *J T*, it was an experience that wasn't for the faint-hearted lol, and I think you're a bit like me in that you like to go shopping unnoticed (I got that wrong it seems :D)

    So, back on-topic.

Might get a chance to escape ;) from DD's at some time, so just wanted to ask if the general consensus is that it's better to use the Roc voucher on its own?

Um...if you were say to buy 1 x roc wipes £5.99, 1 x td starter kit £7.49 and an imaginary item for £3.51...

    Shop one
    Roc wipes £5.99
    td kit £7.49
    use roc voucer
    use till spit
    £2.48 and till spit

    Shop two
    Roc wipes £5.99
    Use roc voucher
    99p and 1 x till spit

    then seperately

    td kit £7.49
    imaginary item £3.51
    use till spit
    £5.00 and free till spit

I'd rather do second shop and just pay 99p for a till spit!

:rotfl: AM tried that one but he was having none of it - like she said if it had been her normal postie he prolly wouldn't have bothered - just unlucky I guess.

I have a compulsive obsession for peeling stamps off for my charity tin - we get loadsa post :D

Spose everyone is out in the sunshine - I'd better get ready and do the same otherwise i'll feel like a right gooseberry later when everyone's saying what they've got :o

Oh and the Boots news - I was looking through my vouchers and guess which one I've found?
