Hi I need some advice from all you shopping experts
question 1:
I plan to buy Pantene £8 ish/soap and glory £5 and TD starter pack £2.49 to pay. Am I better off buying it all together and getting double points or splitting it into 3 transactions and getting 3 till spits?
question 2:
I have a £5 off wys £20 on No 7. would it be better to
a) buy 342 use 1 100 points voucher and £5 off
b) buy each men's No7 separately and use 100 points for each transaction
c) keep the voucher till a GWP comes out

- all together, you use a till spit, pay £15.49, get £1.5 in points. Get another till spit
- separately: Use 1 till spit. Pay £15.49 also. Get (8+5+2.49)*4% in points: 60p in points. Get 2 till spits.
In option 2 you forego 90p in points but get an extra till spit, lets say a TD hand cream. I would split the transactions.
Plus, if in the time delay starter kit transaction you add something else, you get another till spit.
Basically with the 10 point offer, they are giving us 10% back in points rather than 4%. But with a till spit you can get stuff for free, so this 6% difference is rarely worth it for small transactions.
Hope this helps.0 -

I am not sure about the dates on the voucher you have at the moment, but when the N7 offer switches to something else (now it is 342, it will likely switch to GWP), the vouchers end as well.
As for the transactions, it would depend on the prices of the items (for example, over £15 entitles you to 10% in points this weekend). However recently when I and others have used an extra points voucher, the regular 4-points- per-pound spent points are not attributed. I did this with a double points coupon from the autumm mailing but got very little points, since almost all items had an extra points coupon. So if you use the vouchers this weekend I think you will not get the extra points.
From personal experience, let me share some advise. I like to get a N7 GWP when they are out. However, in the past I have stocked up on N7 when the 342 offer was on. and there is only so much moisturiser you can use. So leave something to buy for when the GWP comes out, if you think you will want a GWP.0 -

the voucher I have expires on 30 October so plenty of time. I think I will buy a couple of men's No7 and use mag vouchers and keep the £5 off for the GWP.

Excellent advice - I've stocked up so much on no7 recently I'm going to struggle to meet the minimum requirements when the next gwp comes out without buying for the sake of it!0 -
