Hi all please help as i don't know what else i can do
Short version.
Partner made redundant in august last year, went from contribution based js to income based js at the beginning of april. I had to leave work in january due to ill health but am now working again 20.5 hours a week at £5.52 per hour. We gat half of our mortgage paid because we took a mortgage protection policy when we started our mortgage.
The job centre say we are not entitled to any money through job seekers as i earn too much money, working tax credit say i can't claim because i don't work enugh hours. Is there anything we are entitled to? I've stripped the budget to the minimum don't know what to do and am starting to worry about losing the house we have worked so hard for any help greatly appreciated thanks elle

Thanks Healy, according to that i should get council tax benefit which would really help us, thank you for replying. I'm going to ring the council tomorrow to start the claim0

Yes I thought the one thing you may be entitled to was Council Tax Benefit, but I didnt want to get your hopes up incase I was wrong!0
