I just phoned up the Loughborough enquiring about the mortgage, and they told me the product has now been withdrawn.
Has anyone managed to get one?0 -
someone check my maths please...
existing mortgage - £41,000
possible new mortgage - £130,000
cashback - £9,100
day 1, pay back £98,000 leaving outstanding mortgage of £32,000 @ 6.1% variable.
paid back over 10 years, this would cost me approx. £364 @ 6.1%
What are the other costs I need to consider ? will there be costs of moving away from my current lender ? + £30 insurance option + what is the procuration fee ?
Many thanks,0 -

ADDED TO MY INITIAL POSTUpdate note: 6 September 10.15am. Offer ClosedThis mortgage has now run out of funds. I do hope MoneySavers grabbed the loophole while it was available. Obviously this had very high demand (unsurprising) and used itself up quickly.

Oh well, I guess I won't be going to the Loughborough Building Society this lunch break!
Shame as I was looking forward to getting £6,000 towards a new bedroom.
Will probably have to zoom to Tesco's instead and buy as much frozen beef as I can to exchange clubcard points for MFI vouchers!0
